The craft of truck art has its roots deep in the history, culture, folklore, commerce and everyday life of the country. The film explores all these aspects and others through powerful visuals, interviews with artists, painters, drivers, man on the street, and an artist who has the craft into a new dimension. In many ways this art form is threatened like many other traditions by the advance of technology and new and efficient techniques. This aspect is also addressed.

The target audience is western, USA, UK and European audiences interested in travel, art and culture. The film will include the context and importance of the Truck Art for the drivers, artists and general population in Pakistan. Footage includes traffic, trucks, transportation, close ups, truck driver stops, truck artists, materials, motifs, repairs, and modern transformations to art objects in other forms. Stills are skillfully used to bring out the colors and aesthetics of the paintings. The style is colorful, fast paced and is held together by a combination of tight voiceovers and interview narrative. The sound is ethnic and a mix of the music common to truck culture as well as some fusion beats and rhythms.
